Art
has always been a driving force in my life. And not just the visual arts, performing arts as well. My training as a ballet
dancer in middle school and high school prepared me for a later love of figure drawing. Most of my paintings are motion sequences
inspired by the stop-action photography of Eadward Muybridge and Thomas Eakins.
I graduated
with a Bachelor's Degree in Drawing from Western Washington University. I took many art classes there, including photography,
printmaking, and illustration. I am currently working as a graphic designer for the Sequim Gazette in Sequim, WA.
